AXENÉO7 is solliciting ex situ projects.
The geographical situation of the Outaouais region is a singular one. Administrative centers as well as state machineries, everyday of the week, at identical times, hull and Ottawa’s downtowns become spontaniously inhabited by thousands of people. Work systemes thus dictate the comings and goings, concentrating its activities in these precise and determined locations. Simustaniously, in dowtown Hull, a great number of habitates, more destined to dosmesticity, cohabites with these spaces devoted to work.
In this perspective, AXENEO7 encourages artists to submit interventionist projects, sculptural, performative, infiltrating or monumental reacting to the system of work and it’s cohabitation, by diverting the nature of urban space.
The projects must take place outside of AXENEO7’s gallerie spaces: inside the Filature building, it’s surrounding, on the sidewalk, in a backyard, a parking lot, an office building, a conference room, etc.
There are no deadline for this call- in progress.
